Epididymitis. Any help/experience/knowledge you can offer? - how long does epididymitis last
So I have 21 years of age. Today is Wednesday and last Friday I was diagnosed with epididymitis. Fun. My left testicle was swollen and hurt very difficult and only for 2 days before the heart of net retained. I know that is not sexually related. I was prescribed antibiotics and have since then.
Just a few questions, however: Many supposedly said that if symptoms have not changed in 3 days, go see my doctor. Now, take off, reduce inflammation and pain seemed. Overall I would say it is. I would be better. My problem is that in this sense I am reading mixed signals when it is improving only at this time, or should now be cured? But sometimes I feel like the pain, but not worse than it sometimes still is there, even in treatment. Sometimes it is not at all painful, sometimes it's painful as described. Moreover, inflammation is reduced, and now it seems only a slight swelling.
So in that sense, is the fact that it still hurts so also inthis normal?
And how long does it take to disappear? (Days / week). I am afraid that this still could, if I no longer on antibiotics, and I want to stop hurting sooner rather than later.
Symptoms that should be better (I would say they are) or have they gone?
