Doctor called my dad after biopsy of his polyp. He wants my dad to come in for a procedure. What does he mean? - polyp more condition_symptoms

I wonder why no doctor to remove the polyp completely on its first session, during a colonoscopy. Now that the biopsy results are found, they want to get my father in an instance. Does this mean that a bad thing?
Another question: How bad can it be a removal of polyps? Has she been in bed for a few days?

Another thing is that he, like they call it a flex-SIG and now the doctor wants to do a complete colonoscopy had. A GIS-flex (flexible sigmoidoscopy) is only seen in the sigmoid colon, not the entire colon. A polyp is removed, and if it is suspected, colonoscopy, everything was in order, and the area where it is a polyp removed during this. A name-flex is usually performed in the office with little or no sedation during a colonoscopy, the patient usually "Twilight anesthesia.

However, if there is a complete colonoscopy, the reaction of the Hermes is good.

As for the recovery, it is usually the same day when a colonoscopy is performed as the result of sedation. In the event of a return to normal later in the day.

This is something that should be discussed with your doctor. He alone can make the accurate information you need.
